LNP Capitulates

For the last fifteen to twenty years Australia has been carpet bombed with hate and fear, ignorance, stupidity and prejudice by the obscene greed of Murdoch, the IPA, Howard, Abbott, Turnbull and the others who have sought to screw the poor to give to the rich as their sole objective. In spite of everything that has been thrown at the Australian peoples the penetration of the neo-lib ultra-greed has been low. Yes, there has been a rise in racial and ethnic hatred and vilification of the disadvantaged, we do have One Nation, but considering the amount of time, effort and money that has been poured into creating those conditions we should all now be living in the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max. But we are still here. We have survived. The Libs are now copying Labour in an attempt to cling to power, but they have done too much harm for too long for too many for that to work.

Yesterday’s Claytons Labour budget was still a neo-lib budget with all its the hidden inequalities and unjustifiable aspects. Turnbull/Morrison still rely on fear, internal security and defence as the backbone of their budget, but have capitulated by finally accepting in a limited fashion that the Australian people have a voice that has to be listened to. Not a great budget, but it does mark the beginning of the end for the horrible little people that currently call themselves the government front bench.

It is not time to relax. Now, more than ever it is time to push for Australia to re-establish itself in the world as a fair and progressive country with a belief in equality for all. Time to close the unthinkable horror of concentration camps. Time to stop judging people by their gender, their belief system or what they wear on their heads. Time to treat the disadvantaged with dignity and respect, and to end poverty in what is one of the richest countries of the world. Time to bury the extreme right under the same rock as Azazel never to be seen again until the day of judgment. Time to tell Murdoch that he cannot buy Australia, and Australia will be around long after he is dead, buried and forgotten.

Is the Internet really killing print media?

The old truism that the press can never underestimate the intelligence of the public does not seem to be true. We have reached a stage where as the quality of MSM descends ever more into the gutter readership also drops. This drop in readership is not as a result competition from the Internet but from the increasing lowering of the ‘reporting’ and the lack of integrity of MSM to a stage where there is virtually nothing in MSM that can be classified as news.

Descending to the bottom of the gene pool for readership inevitably alienates those with an education level past year nine (and dropping). Whilst simple slogans and words of no more than two syllables are all the targeted readers can manage it is hardly likely that this format will appeal to a wide audience. If Mr Murdoch wishes treat readers as imbeciles why is he surprised his readership base is decreasing?

Print media is not under attack from the Internet because if there is quality in both the two mediums are complementary. The attack on print media comes from the policies of the people running it. If the quality returns to print media so will the readership.

Australia’s Fascist Government

There are several characteristics of a Fascist government. Two of them are using military forces to control civilians. Another is censorship. The using of the Navy to tow boats carrying refugees back to the edges of Indonesian territorial waters and then censoring any news of the event should leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that Australia now has a Fascist Government. Why are so many Australian’s too polite to say so?

If we are to have democracy we must be prepared to speak out against totalitarian governments. I am not anti-Liberal, but Abbott does not lead a Liberal government; he leads a Fascist government.

If a government is elected democratically there is no complaint whoever wins the election, but when a government is elected on false propaganda generated by a biased monopoly media it is not democracy. It is time for all Australians who believe in democracy, whether Labour, Liberal, Green or free thinking in their political leanings to speak out and say ‘no’ to Fascism in Australia.

The Murdoch/Abbott government will fall. Dictatorships always do in the end. The question is ‘How much damage will this government do before it goes down in flames?’ Can we please try to make the Murdoch/Abbott fall as soon and as complete as possible?

Remember history or repeat it.

New year supposed to be a time to look forward not back. In the case of the Murdoch/Abbott government if we don’t look back the future will be very bleak. The Murdoch/Abbott government is not breaking any new ground. Abbott, as a disciple of B.A. Santamaria has his philosophies laid out in full. Santamaria may be dead but his ghost lives on in physical form in the body of Mr T Abbott. Remember that central to Santamaria policy is that all public and private policy must be in strict accordance with Catholic dogma. Abbott’s radical Catholicism, a form of Catholicism rejected by most Catholics, has become part of Australian government policy. Starting with Howard radical religion has increasingly become part of politics in spite of a definite point in the Australian Constitution separating state and religion.

The policies of the Murdoch arm of the Australian government mirror the policies of Joseph Goebbels. The fundamentals of both Goebbels and Murdoch are 1) work on the week and uneducated. 2) Feed them simple slogans often. 3) Never engage in philosophical argument. 4) Pick one ‘enemy’ for special treatment.

Look back at Joseph Goebbels and compare that with the Murdoch media campaign that elected the Abbott government. Look at Hitler’s writings on propaganda in Mein Kampf and the way to hijack a country is laid in detail. It is detail that has been followed exactly by Abbott and Murdoch. In Mein Kampf you will also find that Hitler followed a radical form of Catholicism similar to Abbott and Santamaria. Hitler and Santamaria both believed that they were on a mission from God; a delusion that is being carried forward by Abbott.

Delusional radicals from either side of politics are dangerous for any country. It is healthy for democracy to have a wide range of ideas and opinions, but there is a point on both sides of politics beyond which belongs to the dangerous lunatic fringe that potentially can destroy a country. We now have a Murdoch/Abbott government that belongs to that dangerous lunatic fringe.

We need to remember history if the future of Australia is not to be a repeat the very worst of history.

Not all Neo Nazis’ gangs roam the streets of Europe.

Many are thugs roaming our boardrooms, and the club where these thugs hang out is called the Institute of Public Affairs. It is also the instrument Murdoch uses to give make his Nazis policies public whilst staying out of view.

The system is simple and effective. Decide on what Nazis policy is to be released next. Murdoch has the IPA put out a press release supposedly based on research. Murdoch then runs the press release in his rags as ‘news.’ The Title Institute of Public Affaires sound official and so Abbott can claim that by introducing such policies he is responding to public opinion and a large sector of the Australian Public believe him.

The IPA anniversary dinner April 4, 2013 (from which the ABC was excluded) gave an illuminating insight to the IPA hierarchy. Top of the tree was Murdoch. Then there were the lesser lights like Abbott, Rinehart and Pell, all of whom paid grovelling homage to the Great God Murdoch.

At the beginning of my blogging life I had few followers and now the numbers have increased I sometimes repeat my early blogs. This is one from April this year about the IPA dinner.

“Abbott compares Murdoch with God (or Snake) in the Garden of Eden (I think).

I say ‘I think’ because it is impossible for me determine exactly what Abbot was saying when he was fawning before the great God Murdoch at the seventieth anniversary IPA dinner.

Almost at the beginning of his speech about says:

In the Garden of Eden that Adam and Eve could do almost as the pleased but freedom turned out to have limits and it’s abuses, as this story makes only too clear. Yet without freedom we can hardly be human; hardly be worthy of creation in the image of God.

Tony Abbott April 4, 2013.

This is very confusing to me. Is he saying Eve supposedly defying God was good because it gave the Human race freedom (a common religious argument) or that God has rules that must be obeyed?

It is hardly surprising that Abbott does not know if Murdoch is God or the Devil. Murdoch ultimately has copyright over what the Fundamentalists claim is the word of the God, the New International Version of the Bible and he is the publisher of the Satanic Bible, written by the ‘Black Pope’ Anton Szandor La Vey. He is also a Catholic Knight Commander of St Gregory. No wonder Abbott is confused about Murdoch’s place in the Godship hierarchy.

Possibly Murdoch doesn’t give a shit as long as it is profitable.

There is a paragraph were he congratulates Jack Roskam for his defence of Western Civilization. I and completely confused by it, particularly the bit about the new version of the Great Australian silence. Exactly what Western Civilization did Jack Roskam defend and who is he anyway.

According to Abbott Roskam had a staff of 20 and Jesus had a staff of 12. I have no idea what that was about.

There is an enlightened section where Abbott says Murdoch has sometimes changed his political alliance but never his fundamental principles. At last Abbott has told the truth about something.

And he did spell out the Coalitions policies.

Repeal the carbon pricing legislation (he called it a carbon tax).

Abolish the Department of Climate Change.

Abolish the Clean Energy Fund.

Repeal section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.

Repeal the mining Tax.

Privatise Medibank Private.

When he compared Murdoch with saving Paris in the Great War and Lord Florey, the co-inventor of penicillin I had this strange idea. Maybe Abbott is really as thick as he appears in public. Maybe it is not just an act to appeal to the bottom feeders of the Australian gene pool.

I had a lot more about the madness that is the IPA but instead please read the speech yourself from Abbott’s official website http://bit.ly/16uLdxF It gives valuable insights into the man who would be (and now is) Prime Minister of Australia.”

Yosef Albric. WordPress http://bit.ly/1ft0o0t

Since April the madness of the IPA has expanded to such policies of scrapping the Human Rights Commission. Not really madness because such a commission cannot exist in a Nazis country. To look at the IPA document on HRC go to http://bit.ly/1fzUKKJ and see just how far down the path to totalitarian government Australia has come.

Abbott and Santamaria. Does Abbot want an extreme Catholic Theocracy to replace democracy?

At the beginning of this year I blogged about the connections between the Catholic Church, B A Santamaria, Archbishop Pell, John Howard, Tony Abbott and Rupert Murdoch. Since gaining office Abbott has implemented the nut-case policies advocated by B A Santermaria in the 1960’s. I decided it was time to rerun those blogs to a now much wider audience and question again where Abbott’s loyalties lie. Does he want to implement B A Santamaria’s dream of replacing democracy with an extreme radical Catholic theocracy?

As a disclaimer to start all religions have weirdos and this blog is in no way anti Catholic, only anti Santamaria’s brand of Catholicism.

Questions have been asked about Tony Abbott’s connection to the Catholic Church and whether his loyalties lie with the church or the Australian Parliament. This is a legitimate question. There is supposed to be separation between religion (all religion) and governance.

In an article by Phillip Coorey (Canberra Times, December 5 2011) Sydney Morning Herald chief political correspondent, Malcolm Turnbull is reported have said during the launch of a book by Hal Colebatch titled The Modest Member: The Life & Times of Bert Kelly:

”We should not delude ourselves with political humbug into imagining the opponents of freedom – economic, social, political – are only to be found on what we like to call the left,” he said. ”Nor should we imagine that there are no advocates of big government to be found on what is called the right.”

Coory also wrote that ‘Mr Turnbull did not name names but invoked Mr Santamaria, a central influence on Mr Abbott during his formative political years and somebody whom he still mentions.’

Tony Abbot was a pupil of B.A.Santamaria for 22 years, and once described Santamaria as ‘The greatest living Australian.”

Santamaria was a extreme Catholic radical who said that all private and public policy must be according to strict Catholic doctrine. Basically Santamaria wanted Australia to be governed as a Catholic theocracy.

In an interview on Radio National (March14, 2001) Fr Bruce Duncan  said of Santamaria.

“I don’t think he went out of his way to mislead and misinterpret events, I think he was just so convinced of his ideas that he automatically kept reinterpreting things to mean the exact opposite of what they had originally intended to mean.”

The same might be said of Santamaria’s pupil, Tony Abbott.

Looking back at B.A.Santamaria is a way of understanding Tony Abbott and why Santamaria’s ghost is alive and well and resided in Parliament House, Canberra.

Following discussion about Tony Abbot and B A Santamaria I wondered if Murdoch was in there somewhere. The thing that put me off was that Murdoch is not a Catholic. But;

Rupert Murdoch was given a Catholic ‘Knight Commander of St Gregory’ for his services to the Catholic Church 1998 by John Paul II. This was in spite of Murdoch not being a Catholic. Still, we have seen how Murdoch is not adverse to jumping from ship to ship as it suits his purpose, as shown by dumping Australia for the USA to get around minor legalities.

In Australia Santamaria’s Catholic connections included Mannix and Pell. Political disciples included Howard and Abbott. I am not even going to try to put this all together. All I can say is that the Catholic Church, B A Santamaria, Mannix, Pell, Howard, Rupert Murdoch and Tony Abbott are twisted together in a way that would be impossible to untangle.

Santamaria had no formal political role and never ran for office, but he kept Labor out of power for 17 years. He was also huge in the life of Abbott, who said after his death that Santamaria “saw politics as a way of giving glory to God”. Historical amnesia about Santamaria also raises the question about how well we know Tony Abbott, the man who would be Prime Minister.

Rupert Goebbels makes writing a blog so hard.

The problem is nothing is happening. I think that should be I am not being told what is happening. It is called censorship and it feels oppressive. In one month writing my blog has gone from a joy and a source of release to sitting at my keyboard knowing there is something I want to write/complain about but it has been sucked into a big black hole.

In the ‘old’ days there was always something to rant about. I could find something in what was said to get fired up about and then feel much better because I had blogged my views. Sometimes people listened and sometimes they didn’t. I never expect that everyone will agree with what I say but I was able to say it, and those who disagreed say so. It was nice to be able to look at what was happening each day and find something for my blog.

Now everything has changed. No one is actually stopping me from writing my blog. The problem is that Rupert Goebbels sticks rigidly to the principles of his famous ideological forbearer Joseph and does not allow me anything to write about.

Goebbels the senior kept a dairy in which he laid out his principles of propaganda  http://www.physics.smu.edu/pseudo/Propaganda/goebbels.html Goebbels the elder began;

Avoid abstract ideas – appeal to the emotions.

Constantly repeat a just a few ideas. Use stereotype phrases.

Give only one argument.

Continuously criticize your opponents.

Pick out one ‘enemy’ for special vilification.

This is only a short abstract but enough to give the general principle of ‘public education’ taken by Goebbels the senior and continued by Rupert with great enthusiasm. Please read the whole article and understand what a threat to democracy Rupert Goebbels posses in the once magnificent country of Australia.

The sounds of silence.

Do you remember the last three years? Abbott, Hockey Reith and the Poodle ranting on hourly about the state of the economy, the invasion of illegal immigrants masquerading as refugees, turning back the boats, the carbon tax fraud, the NBN and whatever else they could find to bash the government with.

Now we have Prime Minister Abbott.

A refugee boat sinks killing who-knows how many people and there is silence. What was the role of our Navy? Did they try to rescue anyone? Silence. Refugees arrive and are sent straight to concentration camps in other lands. Silence. We now live in a land where people can silently disappear.

Abbott pisses off Indonesian big-time. There is a slight murmur from Abbott about it being a ‘minor irritation’, which was only forthcoming because the Indonesian Foreign Minister did not stay silent. We are learning more about refugee arrivals for Indonesia than from our own government.

Climate change is real and it is mostly created by the human race. The UN says it is a major problem with potentially dire outcomes. Silence. In spite of all Abbott’s lies the economy it is doing well. Silence. Abbott’s NBN is already obsolete. Silence.

Contact with the Government has been reduced to the occasional press release with no opportunity to question. And Murdoch stays silent.

This silence has a name. It is called censorship and it must stop if Australia is to return to being a democracy. I was heavily criticised for my piece ‘Welcome to the Fourth Reich.” Censorship is how it starts and here is it.

Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. Joseph Goebbels

This is a comment I received from zwetschgen after my blog on Murdoch and the Fourth Reich. It is an excellent addition to the conversation so I have included it in my blog with permission from zwetschgen.

“On his Australian social experiment/political manipulation, Rupert Murdoch has already tweeted, “other nations to follow in time” – perhaps he’s has been reading Joseph Goebbels.

“To attract people, to win over people to that which I have realized as being true, that is called propaganda. In the beginning there is the understanding, this understanding uses propaganda as a tool to find those men, that shall turn understanding into politics. Success is the important thing. Propaganda is not a matter for average minds, but rather a matter for practitioners. It is not supposed to be lovely or theoretically correct. I do not care if I give wonderful, aesthetically elegant speeches, or speak so that women cry. The point of a political speech is to persuade people of what we think right. I speak differently in the provinces than I do in Berlin (Canberra?), and when I speak in Bayreuth (Western Sydney?), I say different things than I say in the Pharus Hall (the Party Room). That is a matter of practice, not of theory. We do not want to be a movement of a few straw brains, but rather a movement that can conquer the broad masses. Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths. Those are found in other circumstances, I find them when thinking at my desk, but not in the meeting hall.”
